Diet And Acne: Diet Tips For Acne That Work

by Mike Walden

Medical profession had long believed that acne and diet were never linked together. Food, they had agued, comes no where near to acne which can only be traced to the genes and also to hormonal imbalance during puberty – but now recent studies have come up with factual evidence which confirms that certain types of food trigger acne while others retard its progression. It is not accepted that diet impacts the levels of hormones and the toxins in the body. There are some nutrients that can optimize the diet and thereby reduce the inflammation and prevent acne.

Reflecting on the topic, it may be naturally concluded that selective diet patterns have a cumulative effect on our body and mind that can shape us from within as well as externally. And in view of such logical conclusion, denying the obvious link between diet and acne may sound pretty hollow.

Although the physical phenomenon needs little corroborative evidence from outside, yet a recent study undertaken by Dr. Cordain on inhabitants of the Kitavan Islands have provided more realistic proof. It was observed that none of the islanders have ever had any trace of the terror of acne. Mind you, there is no cosmetic cure parlor in those remote islands or any efficient dermatologist to tell them about acne or how to prevent it. The answer can be found in the local customary food which prevented acne formation.

It has also been observed that elimination of certain kinds of food items like hydrogenated oils, refined carbohydrates, dairy products and yeasty savories from the menu of a person spontaneously reduce chances of acne formation while their inclusion in another person’s diet trigger acne. Thus the connection was established. But this does not mean that an acne diet alone will prevent or control acne.

And there are reasons galore to reemphasize the statement. Food is but one contributory factor that triggers acne. There are other more complex factors which collectively contribute towards the formation of acne. These causes are all internal and they need to be neutralized as well for successfully fighting acne. In fact, this multi-dimensional disease condition may first be internally controlled through diet but for a radical cure, the only way out is holistic treatment that ensures lifelong acne freedom.

In view of the learned researcher’s observations, it may be rightly asserted that food and acne are co-related and should be treated as such. However food cannot directly cause acne because then with all of us having wrong food, everyone would have had acne – but that is not the case. People seeking a radical cure should look for holistic way of treatment to get rid of this painful and irritating disease condition. The holistic approach fixes the internal causes and also shows what the right diet would be.

Water, The Easiest Way to Speed Up Your Fat Loss…Instantly!

by Ricardo d Argence

How would you like to know an astonishingly simple and incredibly easy way for virtually anyone to instantly accelerate their fat burning metabolism and improve their appearance over night? Push aside all your skepticism, because this isn’t a weight loss supplement scam, fancy workout contraption, or one of the many “dieting secrets.” It really is quite obvious and in-the-face, yet it still works smoothly.

We always get told that we should drink plenty of water, and for good reasons, not only does it improve your overall appearance, its also beneficial to your bottom line fat burning results, and muscle building. It’s hugely important, and if you aren’t someone who pays close attention to the amount of water that you drink each day, you are definitely short-changing your progress. Let me lay out the points for you to see.

1) Water increases strength and performance in the gym. Studies demonstrate that if you’re the least bit dehydrated it may dramatically reduce your strength and endurance. In fact, merely a 3-4% drop in your body’s water levels will lead to a 10-20% decrease in muscle contractions. When it comes to intense weight training and cardio sessions in the gym, it is critical that your strength and energy levels are always at their best.

2) Injuries can be prevented with water. The joints in your body and the connective tissues can be unduly stressed if you do hard weight training or cardio for a long period of time. One of the ways that water fights this stress is by lubricating the joints and providing a type of cushion around the joints.

3) Drinking water will aid in your body’s digestion of food. Water is needed for the break down of large macronutrients such as proteins, carbohydrates and fats into smaller usable components. You should drink in lot of water to ensure that all the nutrients from the food you eat are fully and propererly utilized by your body.

4) Water directly increases the fat burning metabolism. One of the primary jobs of the liver is to metabolize fat. However, another one of the liver’s duties is to assist the kidneys, whose main function is to flush out waste products through the urine. When your water intake is less than optimal, these waste products will accumulate in the body and will force both the kidneys and the liver to work additionally hard to clear out the waste.

If you take less water your liver has to divert its attention to help kidneys instead of burning fat. Consequently, your body fat burning rate will slow down.

5) The more water that you drink the less retention of water. When your water intake is low, your body responds by holding on to a greater amount as a natural survival response. All of that water will end up in the places you want it least: your face, arms, stomach, butt, thighs, and everywhere else you can think of. Your body can actually be forced to lose weight by increasing your daily water intake. Because your body will have a steady external source of water, it won’t have any reason to store unnecessary amounts.

Keep in mind that your body is already dehydrated if you feel thirsty. For the optimal functioning of your body a certain amount of water is required and if you are consuming that proper amount you should never really feel thirsty throughout a regular, routine day.
