It is a well known fact that as we age our skin also ages. When we compare the texture of the skin of an adult with that of a new born baby we will find that the baby’s skin has a shine and smoothness that an adult skin does not have. Anti aging skin care treatments try to get back the baby’s skin as far as possible.

This is because the baby’s skin has an abundant supply of collagen and elastin which begins to wear out naturally as the baby grows and by the time the child has reached adulthood most of the collagen and elastin has vanished leaving the person with an aging skin. Children’s skins are new and that’s why their skin cells are able to rejuvenate naturally. The best treatment for anti aging skin care for children would be to use mild soaps while giving them a bath and applying sun screen lotions when they are exposed in sunlight.

Some of the negative side effects due to topical retinoid are high sensitivity towards UV light, dryness and irritation. Skin irritation might lead to aging during the long run. Exfoliation combined with either beta or alpha - hydroxyl acids are also used for acne treatments. If alpha - hydroxyl acids is used moderately with the process of exfoliation certain rejuvenation advantages can be obtained.

Acne especially after eighteen years of age in generally referred to as adult acne. People at the early twenties or during the later stages of forties and fifties experience acne problems. Women are the most affected ones and it is also termed as post - adolescent acne. Anti aging skin care involves treating acne with care to prevent scarring.

The most important thing that teens should be educated about is that they should not pick on the pimples as this will cause them to become infected and leave behind permanent scars on the skin. Teens should be advised to wash their faces well before they retire to bed and to use sun screen lotions and sun blocks while they are out in the sun. They should also be told to avoid all junk foods and processed foods and should be educated on eating fresh and healthy fruits and vegetables along with plenty of water to drink. This will effectively help them in anti aging skin care by keeping the skin well nourished and smooth.

Post - adolescent acne appears in an entirely different manner. Blackheads and whiteheads cannot be seen prominently. Pimples on face prove to be a challenge especially for teenage girls. Anti aging skin care treatments should be necessarily adopted as precautionary measure. These measures are capable of diminishing the scars on the face. On the other hand larger pimples or cysts are called nodules. But nodules develop very rarely in women.

People suffering from acne develop pimples around forehead chin and nose. Symptoms of acne differ from each other rapidly. Blockage appearing in the pores of the skin and hair follicles forms the base for the infection. There should be a rapid reduction in oil which will enables to keep the open. Proper care must be adequately taken to prevent aging process.
